APB Pure Line Reds have never had any golden shrimp mixed with them. This increases the shell density and brightness of the shrimp. These are stunners you are sure to be pleased!!!!

The colors on these are noticeably more pronounced than other CRS. They did fade a little bit upon arrival but have colored up very well. Well packaged and acclimated just fine. They are more expensive but you can certainly tell the difference in quality that goes along with that.

At first, I was a little down when they arrive. Their white seems faded. But once they enter my tank, they start eating right on the net.(Experienced shrimp keeper told me this a sign of healthy shrimp+ideal water parameter) After they settled for a few day, their color came back and much better. It is very worthy if you like CRS and want to go PRL.

Finally took the plunge and crossed over to keeping CRS. When they arrived they looked a little dull but once I got them into their new home, WoW! They look great!

I ordered some S+/SS CRS about a week and a half ago, and while they were acclimating, I noticed that some looked different than the others. They seemed to have a richer, deeper red color and a more solid/opaque white. I didn't think much of it until I noticed a note written at the bottom of my receipt, saying that APB was running low on CRS, so they added some PRL to my order. I was stunned! I never expected that! I still can't thank you enough! How many places will give you BETTER stuff when they run out of the stuff you want? Very few, I'll tell ya that! APB will have my business as much as possible, and I make sure to tell other aquarists to come here for anything they need.
Anywho, the differences between CRS and PRL were fairly obvious to me, though I was seeing them side-by-side. I'm not sure if I would've noticed a difference had I just received PRLs, but then again, I don't have a ton of experience with CRS. If you're looking for CRS with richer, more vibrant and solid colors, these are the way to go.

Interesting little shrimps. Very well packaged; as soon as I took them out of the bag they started re-coloring; by the time I acclimated them and moved them into my isolation box, the red parts are already much more vibrant. For now they look like regular CRS. I will be keeping an eye on them in the future to see if I can identify the difference between regular CRS and PRL.
