Black tigers are very rare in the hobby, we are just now getting our numbers up so we can start releasing these very high demand shrimp. Our black tigers are considered VERY high grade!

The Black Tiger Shrimp is selectively bred from the normal Tiger Shrimp. The original Tiger Shrimp were bred for broader black stripes and after many generations the black stripes began to fill the entire body.

Our Black tigers have the royal blue blood lines and display very beautiful blue hues, and have stunning orange eyes. These shrimp breed true (all the babies should basically look like their parents) unlike the orange eye blue tigers that can throw blond looking shrimp.
