Notes: A perrenial native to Sri Lanka that grows amphibiously in it's natural habitat. The leavs are thick, leathery and a deep green colour. The egg shaped leaf blade is longer than the petiole with a wedge shaped base. This is an ideal species for planting in the foreground of the aquarium where it will form thick tufts. Very hardy plant but may have what is called crypt melt when moved, just give them some time and they will be beautiful again in a short time.
