Dwarf Sagittaria is a fairly easy plant to grow, requiring only moderate light. This plant species can tolerate quite hard, alkaline water conditions. Also, this plant species does well in non-CO2 aquaria, although CO2 injection does greatly enhance growth. Either a rich substrate or rich water column with ample amounts of phosphate, nitrate, potassium, and iron/micronutrients will produce the best results. This plant is especially finicky about iron levels and will show deficiencies with yellowing leaves. Intense lighting will bring out reddish leaf apexes.
Planted densely, the 0.5cm wide leaves have the ability to grow to 60cm. Less dense plantings keeps the leaves short, in the 5-10cm range. "S. subulata" is a fast grower, and as it propagates by runners, it can quickly form a dense carpet. Sometimes, this plant will send long flower stems to the surface which bear small white flowers.

The dwarf sagittaria truly is very small (just like everyone else said). I'm sure I cannot root it in my gravel, but perhaps I can pot it in sand. All the plants were smaller than I expected--just young plants probably--but certainly healthy. The moneywort roots were just started and only 1/8" . Plants were healthy and green. *****I am over-all happy with my order*****The Snails arrived happy, healthy, and still moist. They flipped right side up within 10 seconds of hitting the bottom of the tank and moved around. 3-star plants because of size. 5+ star live snails because they were perfect+ !!! wow!

Im almost positive its a better value since all I received was a small plant with 3 leaves...That being said I was satisfied with the rest of my order overall just disappointed I was to cheap to throw $2 more dollars in.

Honestly was a much smaller plant than I expected, but maybe I expected too much for $2.99? It's a nice plant, but whenever I order something of this type I'm disappointed with the size or amount that arrives.

I am more than happy with my order, it arrived very quickly and extremely healthy with no browning or die off what so ever, The roots were every bit as long as the plant itself, If your comparing elsewhere... DONT, you wont find a better deal or quality, trust me i tried!
