Spiky Moss is from the genus of Taxiphyllum, it has a softer and velvety texture. The overall effect of the Peacock Moss is much 'gentle' in a sense.It grows much better in cooler temperature at about 70°f. In higher temperature about 85°f, the moss starts to loose it peacock-shaped fronds.
