These have been consistently producing the coveted almost black tiger shrimp. The blondes could easily turn blue as they age. Normally don't show any blue until 1/2" - 3/4" size. (They have been producing almost 3/4 blues consistently) Start your own colony with quality stock. Same care as Crystal reds ( see our care sheet ). My stock of OEBTs has been selectively bred in my breeding facility for over 7 years.

Please note that I'm adding more shrimp to this special, but they will be small and not colored up yet. They should start too show shades of blue in about a month, then some of them will start to get a really dark blue a few months later.

I'm releasing a few orders at a time until my inventory of them build back up. Sorry no waiting list so it's first come first served. Keep in mind these will be SMALL!!!!!!

half are good

I wish I were happier about the shrimp i received. Half of them turned out to be blondes, and the other half are a deep blue, with the exception of 1 that is blue-ish red. I know blue tigers dont breed true, but 5 blondes out of 10 seems a bit excessive to me.
( It can take a few months for them all to color up, We have never heard of anyone else ending up with half blondes in several years of selling them. Give them another month and I would think you will see a difference. Most people report 8 out of 10 turning blue )

These little guys are wonderful.Very active,constantly digging and climbing on the moss.Going to order more in just a little while.Thanks for such great livestock and the great customer care:)

I was really worried about getting shipping from the US to Canada but everything worked perfectly. They were very well packed. They were healthy and happy. Started searching for food the moment they got into the tank. I have to say I'm really happy with the purchase and wish I had ordered more. I love their golden eyes and beautiful blue bodies. They are starting to colour up now and get more blue everyday. Thanks so much!!!

I got these a few months ago and have already had one female give me babies and they are berried up again! Super active shrimp from day one! Love them!

i recived my blue tigger's two months ago they turned blue with n a week i like suprizing them at night with a flash lite there little beedie eyes stand out

I've bought OEBT from 3 other people (including 1 from top breeder in Germany) and these were sooooooo much better. Simply amazing color. I was concerned a little when they first came in because the blues were pretty faint. Within a month they made my other OEBT look like culls. Alpha Pro Breeders are certainly PRO'S

I bought mine a few months ago and though I got some really nice looking tiger shrimp with orange eyes. They slowly started to turn blue over the next month or so. I now have 4 that are almost black out of the 10 I got and all the rest are a very pretty blue. I would Highly reccomend, wish I could post a picture of them so you can see the quality.

These shrimp are a very striking site. As soon as they hit the tank they instantly started exploring and eating any food they could find.

It can be a very difficult proccess to find a provider of aquarium shrimp to Canada. Most pets shops charge insanely high prices and most websites wont ship internationaly. The ones that do tend to be sketchy at best. (I shall not mention names)

While you may find cheaper stock on some sites for Canadian delivery (and that will be very difficult!) You will be hard pressed to find shrimp of this quality and customer service this proffesional.
