Excellent Cleaner - Excellent Quality

I've had this species of snail for years, I used to raise Triops (which are VERY messy shrimp) and these guys did wonders for the cleanliness of my tank.

This last year we set up two freshwater tropical aquariums, and I've been trying to seed them with MTS from LFS. I go in regularly to look for these guys in their tanks and ask for them (they will usually give them to you). It's a hassle getting them from LFS though, they always want to give me a speech about how bad they are for an aquarium. In reality these guys are EXCELLENT additions to any aquarium. They burrow under the substrate (sand, fine gravel, larger gravel) and eat uneaten food and waste products. They do breed, but their populations can be controlled by food availability, and you actually WANT a lot of these in your tank for cleanliness and water quality.

I just purchased 36 of these from this site, and got the 36, plus some tiny babies (LOVE THAT!). They are all active and healthy, and now doing their job in both of my tanks. I'll definately be a repeat customer.
